Kenneth A. Dubin, Ph.D, Kenneth A. Dubin is Adjunct Professor in Human Resources and Strategy at IE Business School and Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Social Law at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
His research centers on the comparative political economy of work and the politics of people in organizations. Current research projects include the relationship between new patterns of corporate governance and firms’ human resource strategies, the politics of meritocracy, and the development of pay for performance systems in the public sector. Ken received his B.A. from Wesleyan University (Connecticut) and his Masters and Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
Prior to pursuing his graduate studies, Ken was vice president of Optima Group, Inc., a strategic marketing consulting firm located in Milford, Connecticut (USA). More recently, he has combined his academic responsibilities with consulting, executive training and public speaking on a range of human resource issues including building high performance work systems, enhancing retention, and promoting equal opportunity and diversity in the workplace. |

Karl Moore, Associate Professor, Faculty of Management, McGill University Associate Fellow, Templeton College, Oxford University
After completing his MBA at USC Karl worked for eleven years in marketing, sales and senior management positions with IBM, Hitachi and Bull. He has done postgraduate work at the Harvard Business School.
Dr. Moore's publications include over a hundred and twenty articles, books and papers. His eighth book, this one on globalization and leadership, will be published in 2008 by Routledge.
In 2006 he was a summer columnist on Leadership in the Globe and Mail, Canada’s national newspaper and in June 2007 he started a weekly videocast for the Globe and Mail on leadership. He each week Karl interviews either a CEO or a world famous business professor. |

JEREMY FRANCIS, MANAGING DIRECTOR OF RHEMA GROUP.
He has worked in human resource development for over thirty five years. From a background of human resource management within British and American banks, in 1982 he became a self-employed human resource consultant.
In 1985 he founded Rhema Group, a Strategic Partner of Oxford Brookes University, whose aim is to create and deliver very specific, tailored solutions to meet the needs of its clients
Jeremy's main involvement with organisations is at Chief Executive and Senior Executive levels, providing both consultancy and advice on human resource development and the management of change. His very practical approach to the development of people has enabled him to make a significant impact on organisations and the behavioural changes they wish to effect in their people to become truly high performing businesses.
Jeremy has written many articles on Training and Development the most recent of which was for the online publication HR Director entitled – “Globalisation of business and the challenges of aligned training and development issues”.
He is an Associate Fellow of the Centre for Applied HR Research at Oxford Brookes University. |

David Creelman is CEO of Creelman Research.
David Creelman is CEO of Creelman Research. He does writing, research and speaking on the most critical issues in human capital management. His clients include think tanks, consultants, academics and organizations in Japan, the US, Canada and the EU. He publishes regularly in the US, Japan, Peru, Turkey, Brazil, South Africa, Holland, Romania and Singapore.
His current focus is on what organizations should report about human capital intangibles to the financial markets.
Prior to founding his own company David was Chief of Content and Research for HR.com. As the first employee of HR.com David played an integral role in growing a successful dot com; one that continues to thrive. For many years David was a management consultant in Canada and Malaysia, most notably with the Hay Group. He also taught Rewards and Performance Measures at the University of Malaya executive MBA program. Before venturing into human resources consulting, David worked in finance for Gulf Canada in Toronto and IT for Wood Gundy in the London.
He has a MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a Combined Honours B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from McMaster. |

Terry Edney,
Terry gained a bachelors degree in Finance and then developed a successful career in HR and was HR Director for two leading IT companies.
He subsequently moved into line management, where his experience included turning around a loss making business unit and, as Marketing SVP for a US company, leading a team which created a new global IT services product.
Throughout his career Terry has specialised in strategy development and implementation, corporate acquisitions and integration, and business turnarounds and restructuring. A common theme throughout his work has been the creation and management of talented teams as the critical factor in any major change process.
He has brought this wide expertise to his consulting projects in the UK, Europe, Middle East and the USA. During his consulting career Terry also earned a masters degree in employment law and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. |

Khaled Habib is the Managing Director for Key Opinion Business Consultants.
Originally graduated from the Faculty of engineering, Cairo University, Khaled aggressively pursued the Sales and Marketing fields, reaching the level of Marketing Director and leading several local Egyptian Firms to market leadership in terms of revenues, market share and brand equities. With a growing reputation as a practitioner, he actively joined the consulting field, where he successfully designed and implemented over 40 full restructuring and transformation projects in a variety of local, international, private and ex-public sector firms.
He then went on to establish the Vodafone Training Academy, as part of his role as Senior HR Manager-Training and Development in Vodafone Egypt. Next, he led the HR Function in Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for the Middle East region, where he masterminded and implemented major change initiatives, including region-wide acquisitions and restructuring projects.

Dany is responsible for managing revenue generation at Bayt.com
Dany brings extensive experience in managing multiunit sales operations in the region. In 1998 Dany founded Butler’s laundry and dry cleaning outfit which has since evolved into Dubai’s leading laundry and dry cleaning company serving retail and institutions.
This project followed hot on the heels of Intercat, another brainchild of Dany’s, a Dubai-based catering company serving large industries, business and institutions. Intercat now has 1,100 employees with revenue in excess of $25 million.
Dany is a graduate of University College London with a BSc in Statistics, Computing, Operational Research, and Economics.
